Synology tops midrange NAS storage systems survey

Synology® Inc. was featured in the 10th Quality Awards survey for NAS systems by TechTarget and received the highest overall ranking, outscoring other enterprise-level storage manufacturers, including HPE, NetApp, EMC, Dell, and IBM.

“Our goal is to provide businesses with advanced, highly integrated, reliable storage solutions that are intuitive. We want as many users to benefit from our products as possible,” said Mike Chen, sales director of Synology Inc. “We’re honored to receive the top honor in an extremely competitive market. And, we’ll continue to strive to improve customer satisfaction.”

From all of the manufacturers in the survey, Synology is the youngest and also the highest ranked. Survey participants used Synology’s RackStation models from the company’s XS/XS+ or Plus series. The high-end rack servers deliver fast, secure and reliable file sharing tools with multiple backup solutions. Synology earned its highest scores in the categories for Product Features (6.31) and Initial Product Quality (6.57). “..the SMB-focused vendor notched a category average of 6.57 by racking up the highest marks for each statement (with one tie).”

TechTarget provides insightful reports for technology professionals and executives all around the world . Concerning NAS market in general, the results are unequivocal: NAS market is getting tougher every year and professional users constantly raise their quality standards.
