AVM launched 500 Mbit/s powerline adapters

SCALEWIRELESS networking partner AVM announced the international launch of the FRITZ!Powerline 500E Set that supports transmission rates up to 500 Mbit/s.

FRITZ!Powerline 500E expands your home network using your house’s existing wiring. Whether just for bridging gaps caused by the building’s architecture or for particularly large distances, using a network cable or power line communication to connect the FRITZ!WLAN Repeater 300E now affords greater flexibility as you can install the device right where it’s needed.

FRITZ!Powerline 500E Set turns every outlet into a fast and secure network port using your house’s existing wiring for data transmission. It creates a high-speed network that supports all video, voice and data applications. Transmission rates of up to 500 Mbit/s are possible. Ranges up to 500 meters on the power line can be used for networking. Additional Powerline adapters can be added at any time by pressing a button. A clear graphic on the user interface shows every Powerline adapter deployed in the network along with data on it’s performance.

Device is easy to setup, no installation required. Especially suitable for broadband-intensive applications like streaming, surfing, gaming, Internet TV. All data is secured with 128-bit AES encryption and it also support IPv6 for future applications.
