Synology DS409+ server wins

Estonian computer magazine Arvutimaailm nominated Synology DS409+ server best in class fileserver for small- and medium sized businesses.

Tests performed focused on performance, speed and extra features. Fileservers selected for the test had price tag up to 650 eur. Synology DS409+ won the test because of its superior speed, excellent choice of extra features and intuitive user interface.

“DS409+ has all what a small office needs – different services, good speed and looks. You can place it on a bookshelf if you please and host your companies web page on it,” said Marko Habitch, edtor in Arvutimaailm. “It can also be used as a media server or be hooked up with a IP camera, that would turn it into a surveillance station,” added Habitch.
