Synology DiskStation DS115 is a compact 1-bay NAS server designed to boost fun and productivity in your digital life, empowering your hard drive with network storage features to share, stream, and synchronize files.

The DS115 may seem small in size, but it’s got big capabilities. The new dual-core CPU solution arms the DS115 with enhanced computing power and performance, over 110.56 MB/sec reading and over 93.47 MB/sec writing. With a built-in floating-point unit, DS115 transcodes audio tracks into MP3 format on demand to reduce streaming bandwidth and speeds up thumbnail generation to yield a refreshing photo viewing experience.

The DS115 also packs in rich external interfaces, offering USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports alongside the eSATA connector.
